Experience
I have experience working with students on a variety of levels. I tutor primarily in Ecology and Biology, which are the courses that enjoy teaching the most. They have very important connections to situations in the real world and I emphasize that with my students. Science provides a way of thinking that is very organized, which can be useful in other areas than just the classroom. I am also able to tutor in Anatomy, Physiology, reading and writing, Life Sciences, elementary and middle school science courses, and Evolution. I have worked with students at a freshman level on up to doctoral candidates and am comfortable with large groups, teaching individual students, and lecturing in seminars.I currently possess an AA in Medical Laboratory Technology and received a Bachelor of Science from Cleveland State University in Biology. I have also put in some time working on a graduate degree in Environmental Science, as well. In my spare time, I like to pursue a variety of interests. I like to go hiking and take nature walks, as well as spending quality time with my dog. I also enjoy activities such as knitting, crocheting, painting, and sitting down with a good book.
